I was sooo looking forward to seeing Cloyd at the reunion in October. My senior year I was boarding in town and Cloyd & I would go to library and then to the local restaurant (memory totally eludes me now of the name) and would order fries and the beef gravy that they served on their hot sandwiches at lunch to share. It was a huge plate. I am really going to miss seeing her
I always like Cloyd in high school. She was nice to everyone, had a great sence of humor too. She was on my facebook page and she would post some really delicious recipes from time to time. She seemed to love her family and especially her grandchildren! When the recipes stopped showing up I felt there was something wrong. I am sad for her loss.
Cloyd Karsten-Stencil was always a ray of sunshine with her dry sense of humor and the ability to make laugh. I always loved the way she always called things like she saw them and could make you feel great around her. During school and even over the years she always made you happy to be around her. She and her husband Stan where perfect together and I know she missed him so. I thank her for her friendship and laughter. My condolences to her family and especially to her daughter Stephanie who took such good care of her. Another bright light shines in Heaven now that she has gone Home. Love Ya, Marilyn
